Bye Bye Mexico!

Everyone get a fiancé to carry your bags

Our van picked us up from our resort at two am and we drove about an hour to the airport! we checked our bags and got on our flight at six am. It was such a longggg day! we got to Texas around ten am and the first thing we did was eat burgers and fries because Mexico made us sick. Brock actually ended up having to go to the doctor when we got home (oops) then we caught our plane to Vegas! We made it home around six pm, Me with a million and one bug bites and Brock with a belly ache but more important with the best memories!

Day Six. Last Day in Cancun

Visiting our engagement spot

Dare I say this was my most favorite night of the entire trip? We had one last dinner booked and my family decided to eat a big lunch with out us while we were swimming so they gave us the reservation to go by ourselves. We went to a place called Tequila that was right on the beach. We had the best drinks and fajitas and after dinner we took a long walk on the beach all the way back to where we got engaged. We took a ton of silly pictures and wrote our names in the sand and Brock wrote that adorable "Marry Me" and said it would be a cute picture with my ring. We had so much fun making music videos to Beyonce 'Drunk in Love' and then we watched the sun go down. I will never forget those last moments in the spot where he asked me to be his wife or how much joy and how loved I felt on our last night in paradise.

Day Five. Japanese Restaurant

Friday we were so exhausted from our adventure the day before and I woke up with literally 100 bug bites all over my body (Thats what I get for zip-lining through the jungle with out bug spray)  It was miserable to get in the ocean or even swim with them all over! so we kinda took it easy and then later that night we had a dinner booked at another resort.

Day Four. Mayan Ruins

Thursday was such a fun and busy day for us I had to break this day into a couple different posts! We went straight from the caves to the Mayan Ruins and the sights were so amazing! we did a lot of walking and learning about the history of the Ruins.
