MERRY CHRISTMAS |12.25.14

We decided that since we took pictures with Shali that we should do a christmas card. WE really did decide. Brock said we should do a card! I had never done one because my family just wasn't into that kind of stuff when I was growing up. So two days before christmas I made them and sent them out to our families and his brother and sister.

Christmas | 12.25.14

Christmas morning we headed over to Bart and Teddy Sue's house for breakfast! This was my first time going and its a tradition for Brock and his family. It did not disappoint I loved the chai tea, it was so yummy! and of course all the cinnamon rolls. I love that both of our families live in St. george because right after breakfast we headed to my parents to open presents and hang out before we went to my grandparents for christmas dinner.  Our parents spoiled us. This christmas was my absolute favorite. I loved all the presents that were combined for our house and for both of us to enjoy. After dinner at my grandparents we went down into my grandpas garage. He loves old cars and he has had this corvette since before I was born. He started it up for Brock and showed him his firebird thats even older than the corvette. I loved seeing my grandpa, my dad and brock all in the same place talking and hanging out. Thats what christmas is really about right? I will cherish these pictures.

Christmas Eve | 12.24.14

We celebrate Christmas eve with Brock's side of the family every year and they make a yummy dinner and its always decorated beautifully (these people know how to throw a party) we move on to dessert and then we play left right center and this year we played a poker game too. We opened up our Christmas pajamas and presents from his parents that night so we could go straight to the Glendenning breakfast in the morning. Our parents both spoiled us so much! I don't think I have ever had a better Christmas! when we got home that night we were to excited and decided to open each others presents so we could sleep in. (oh to be a kid again) Brock got me these beautiful Alex & Ani bracelets. The charms stand for eternal knot, life's path and an initial for Rissa. I thought this gift was so special because I totally wasn't expecting it!  I didn't even know he knew what they were, and the fact he picked out each charm. He also got me some wine glasses because he knows I think they are pretty and this light up mirror I had been asking for. It was so much fun waking up together in our own house Christmas morning.

Early Christmas up North | 12.21.14

Jade was so excited to open all of her presents she loved her princess dress and her easel! Whitney and Tyler got us a stack of date night card ideas and a gift certificate to Outback. I thought that was so sweet and thoughtful! of course we used that as soon as we got home! We had a yummy dinner and relaxed in front of the Netflix fire ;)

Long Weekend at Tyler and Whitney's | 12.17 - 12.21

We had so much fun up North with all of Brock's family! we had an early christmas with Jade and watched her open all of her presents from Brock's parents since they would be with tyler's family this year. We watched a lot of Mickey Mouse and ate yummy food. We also went to City Creek and a new pizza joint called Slab.

Christmas shoot with Shalli Aldred | 12.14.2014

Shalli messaged me on Facebook and asked me if we would like to do a practice shoot with her and I jumped at the opportunity because we have no professional pictures together (partly because brock is so dang stubborn and hates pictures) I am so glad he didn't fight me on these! he knew I really wanted to do them and was a good sport the whole time! I will cherish these forever! she is so sweet and fun to take pictures with everyone needs to book a shoot with her! she captured our personalities perfectly! thank you Shalli!

Snippets | December 2-14 2014

December snippets : We made sugar cookies for Brock's work party, My friend Lauren had her baby shower, I hosted our work Christmas party at our house! we wore our PJ's, ordered pizza and watched movies, We made smores and decorated our home. December was good to us!!

Thanksgiving | 11.27.14

We spent Thanksgiving with both of our families! thats the best thing about having our families both in St. George. We ate at my house at one o clock with my family and then around three we went over to Brock's aunt and uncles house for dessert/ more dinner and to visit with his side of the family! Surprisingly, I didn't get any food pics danggit! but we had such yummy dinners and we got to see Matt (Brock's cousin) who lives in Oklahoma and our niece Jade! after we ate we watched 'If I Stay' and fell into food comas ;)
