Spring Break March 7-15

Over spring break all of Brock's family from Kansas and Texas came to town.
I met his grandparents and his aunt, uncle and cousins on his mom side for the first time!
and it was so much fun visiting with everyone.
Dillan, Whitney, Tyler and baby Jade came to town for the week too
and Jade is as cute as ever. And getting so big.
Jade loved my little brother Jason it was so fun to see them play together.

I worked most of Spring Break but I visited with the family at night.
We played the Name game, Card games, played in the pool and ate yummy dinner.
Tyler's family also came to town so we went to watch Mary Grace's Softball game
and the girls shopped in Closet Revival.

We were so happy we got to see Dillan
since he moved to Oklahoma at the end of summer we haven't got to see him!
Spring Break was a busy one but a fun one!

Pismo Beach | July 4

For the Fourth of July we headed down to Pismo Beach and set up camp with all of my family. We indulged in horchata, fruit with spicy seasoning, some crazy potato chips with hot sauce on them and coffee because it was freezing! it was so foggy we could barely see the pier in front of us. ( we got my dad to buy us matching sweats) we only lasted a couple hours before we took down the tent and headed back to my aunts. It was really fun to be at the beach but we wish it would have been a warmer day.

Feeding the Seals | Morro Bay part 3

 Yeah, ew.

Feeding the seals was really fun! one of them was so silly and liked to play, do tricks and clap! the other was totally not interested in any of us! he just wanted us to throw the fish and leave him alone. They told us they were two different kind of seals but I think he was just sad and wanted to play in the ocean haha

Wine Tasting & Vineyard Tour

I was most excited about touring the vineyards and wineries, we called a limo service and got a package deal that let us tour three vineyards, wine taste and it came with an ice chest full of sodas, water and a veggie/meat picnic to set up at the vineyard of our choice. I obviously couldn't wine taste because I wasn't 21 but I did get to drink a fuzzy apple drink, eat gelato, and enjoy the picnic! we also toured the wine caves where they keep all of the barrels of wine! it's cold and misty in the caves, perfect for storing wine. I definitely want to go back and experience the vineyards again!

The Garden Gallery on Morro Bay

I am so obsessed with the gardens at Morro Bay! I snapped pictures left and right because the lighting and the greenery was so pretty! if we hadn't flown I would have taken home all the succulents. They had a gift shop that reminded me of another version of an anthropology with the cutest decorations and lighting. The whole time I kept thinking how cute it would all be in our new house!
