We spent Thanksgiving with both of our families! thats the best thing about having our families both in St. George. We ate at my house at one o clock with my family and then around three we went over to Brock's aunt and uncles house for dessert/ more dinner and to visit with his side of the family! Surprisingly, I didn't get any food pics danggit! but we had such yummy dinners and we got to see Matt (Brock's cousin) who lives in Oklahoma and our niece Jade! after we ate we watched 'If I Stay' and fell into food comas ;)
This year I bought a house AND a car could I be anymore of a grown up? ;) really though, this baby is just the best thing ever. Before now I drove the same Honda Civic I drove when I was 17 and the minute I drove off the lot with this brand new 2015 Ford Escape the roads got a little bigger! I don't feel like I'm going to fall apart on the freeway so thats good! hooray for new cars!
We went out and bought our first tree! of course its white and of course we used gold decorations to match most of our house. It was really special setting up our first tree, in our first home so it had to be documented. We propped the iPhone up on the counter and set up self timer then took a couple kissing pics for the camera! would you expect anything different? I love that he goes along with all my crazy ideas.
Guys, I had an amazing birthday! I felt so special and loved! My friend Nena threw me a birthday party with so many friends including a birthday sash and my very own "birthday babe" cup. She is the best and so thoughtful! The next day it was off to Vegas with Brock's family. It was originally supposed to be both of our families but my mom got sick at the last minute. It was still a lot of fun. Brock booked us a room at the Trump ( we love staying there because its right across the street from fashion show mall) we shopped all day and then went to lunch at CPK and later that night we had reservations at Capital Grille ( a family fav) they had decorations and a card waiting at our table! It was so much fun, I love birthdays.
